Digital accessibility

Because Agence Française de Développement (AFD) values inclusion and diversity, it is committed to constantly improving the accessibility of its afd.fr website, especially for people with disabilities.
This page presents the accessibility policy for the afd.fr website and the observed overall level of accessibility that complies with the relevant standards and regulations.
Why does digital accessibility matter?
An accessible website is one that enables people with disabilities to access and use its content and features without difficulty. Digital accessibility is a way to promote inclusion and diversity by ensuring that no one is excluded from accessing online information and services.
In France, the obligation of digital accessibility applies to public services (central and local governments, public institutions, organizations delegated with a public service mission), companies with a turnover in France exceeding €250 million, and organizations of general interest.
In an effort to provide the best possible experience for all its users, AFD is working to make navigation on its website afd.fr more accessible by complying with the Référentiel général d’amélioration de l’accessibilité, France’s general guidelines for improving digital accessibility, known by its acronym RGAA.
