In Burundi, about 2.9% of the population is HIV-positive, more than four times the global average. Help for those living with the virus can range from providing medical treatment to education and the raising of awareness at a time when stigmas and prejudice are still widespread – and harmful. We hit the streets of the capital to see how people on the frontline are making a difference.
