What structural changes are needed to achieve sustainable economic growth? What is the state of play in Colombia? This webinar will explore the structural change undergone by the Colombian economy between 2005-2014 by using Structural Decomposition Analysis.
The Low-carbon transition is a specific type of rapid structural change, where low-emission industries grow and high-emission industries decline due to deliberate policies, changing preferences and technological change.
Given the ambition of its Nationally Determined Contributions, it is interesting to perceive what are the opportunities and vulnerabilities realted to the low-carbon transition of the Colombian economy.
This event will be moderated by Antoine Godin, head of the GEMMES Unit. It will take place online on October the 6th from 3 to 4:30 pm (CET).
