At a time when the financial resources needed to achieve sustainable development goals are constantly growing, the role of the various financial players is of crucial importance. In line with its mandate, AFD Group supports and works towards accelerating sustainable and fair transitions in the countries where it operates. This action is made possible by resources raised on the markets. The Group's sustainable bonds make a major contribution by channeling resources to projects with the greatest environmental and social impact, benefiting the most vulnerable communities.

 

AFD Group organizes a conference to mark the 10th anniversary of its first sustainable bond issuance and the publication of its new SDG bond framework. The program will be structured around two panels, dealing with the mobilization of capital to developing countries for sustainable development, and the role of the Paris financial center in sustainable finance.

This will be followed by a presentation of the AFD Group's new SDG bond framework and the mechanisms in place within the Group to ensure the sustainability of its projects.
